課程概述 |
The main objective of this course is to help students prepare an article for publication in a professional journal or book chapter. This is an advanced undergraduate honor/graduate course. Therefore, the students should have a clear research topic with them. | |
|
課程目標 |
Upon completion of this course, the students should know the literature of their field, processes of journal/book chapter publication, write critical comments to the reviewed articles and have ability to compose a good research paper. | |
|
課程要求 |
Students will be graded entirely based on the assignments. The assignments need to be turned in on time and late assignment is not acceptable. For the article review, each student needs to provide at least 10 critical comments to the assigned article composed by your classmate. It is a blind review process, so the reviewer’s identity will be remain anonymous. For the final presentation, students need to present their own work and rebut the reviewer’s comments and suggestions. | |
